Herbal Remedies - Gout
Gout is the build up of uric acid in the blood, we all have
this acid, however in Gout sufferers it is in excess. The build
up of the acid can lead to crystals forming in the joints making
them very painful.
A gout attack usually takes place at night time & more
often than not pain will start in the big toe, the joint will
become painful and swollen & very tender to the touch this
discomfort is caused by the uric acid crystals being shed into
joints, if gout attacks become common in the sufferer & no
treatment is acquired then permanent damage can be caused leading
to arthritis.
